He was predeceased by: his brother Paul D. LaBar; and his parents, Franklin M. LaBar Jr. and Shirley M. LaBar (Tucker). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. LaBar (Weiss); his son Matthew S. LaBar; and his siblings, Wayne, Jimmy LaBar, Margaret Weiss, Jeannie Savoy and Debra Medeiros. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
