We announce the death of Brian L. Bailey of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Brian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Brian will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Brian will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Brian’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Bailey and Delores Bailey (Merkel). He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Baker of Lehighton, Lori (David Nothstein) of Lehighton and Melissa; and his spouse Colin Sefcik of Emmaus. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (300 Alum St, Lehighton, PA 18235). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
