He was predeceased by: his parents, James Straiter and Mary Straiter (Boyko); his wife Nancy Straiter (Hoppes); his sons, Timothy and Eric; and his sister Carole Galinat.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Cerjan (Robert), Kristin Campbell (Robert) and Matthew (Diane); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Alissa, Jordan, Nathan, Brenden, Christopher, Meghan and Levi; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Joshua and Colin; and his close friend Denise Klein. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
