He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Freeby and Marie Freeby (late Cynthia L. (Everett)); and his siblings, Darryl Freeby, Betty Ruhl, Sus Ziegenfus, Kay Ann Wentz and Donna Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sara M. Freeby of Lehighton, Julie (Christopher Brady) of Gouldsboro, Tiffany M. Freeby of Lehighton and Erica Everett (Joseph Wilt) of Weatherly; his grandchildren, Adrian, Keegan, Noah, Anna and Samuel; and his sisters, Kim (Frank Kollar) of Bowmanstown and Diane.
