He is survived by: his wife Donna Hesley (Kafer); his daughters, Sue Ellen Running (Ron), Patricia Emmons, Karen Preston (William IV) and Jacqueline Bonser (Carl); his grandchildren, William Preston V, Denise Leighton (Drake), John Preston (Kayla), Joseph Preston, Lyndsey Becker, Jessica Yakelewicz, Jacob Bonser (Tynesha) and Caitline Bonser; his sibling's children, Timothy, Roger (Becky), David Kafer (Tisha) and Michelle "Mickey" Kafer; his sister-in-law Carol Kafer; his niece-in-law Jennifer Kafer; and his nephews, Jeff Leighton and Kevin Nelson.
