Cortese and Florence Marie Cortese (Schmalzel); his daughters, Sharon George (Charles) of Palmerton, Christine Karp (Gerald) of Lehighton, Jutta Mueller of Lehighton and Annette Cortese (David Ruzicka) of Palmerton; and his siblings, Antoinette Bowman (Larry) of Tamaqua, Marchel Zastko (Anthony) of Lehighton, Joseph (Nancy) of Henderson, Carl (Jean San Marcos) and Alfred of San Diego, CA. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
