She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Schlier and Verna Schlier (Dotter); and her husband James R. Kates. She is survived by : her daughters, Natalie Savage of Bethlehem, Lora Gould of Lehighton, Pamela Kates of Lehighton and Valerie Miller of Lehighton.
