She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph M. Rakos; and her parents, Francis Hadnagy and Mary Hadnagy (York). She is survived by: her children, Michelle F. Bayda (Brian) of Bethlehem, Diane M. Rakos (Robert Harrison) of Blandon, David M. Rakos of Lehighton and Jeffrey M. Rakos (Debra) of Lehighton; her sister Elizabeth Lopata of Nesquehoning; and her grandchildren, Nathanael Rakos (Emily) of Connecticut, Alexander Rakos (Tyler Ann Schellenberg) of Connecticut, Harrison, Emily Rakos of Nesquehoning, Lauren, Matthew, Griffin Bayda of Bethlehem, Abigail, Owen, Madeleine Rakos of Lehighton, Olivia and Benjamin Harrison of Blandon. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name to the church, or to the American Lung Association.
