She was predeceased by: her husband Lamar Beers; her parents, Frank Bennett and Catherine Bennett (Koons); and her siblings, Catherine "Sis" Bunnevich, Elizabeth "Betty" Johnson, Francis "Fran" Rehrig, John "Jack", Richard "Dick" and Robert "Rob" Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy L. (Peter D. Urso) of Lansford and Julie B. Hartman (Robert) of Lehighton; her grandchildren, Shelby R. Hartman (Joe Kresge), Justin Beers (Leidy) and Robert Hartman (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Brielle, Riley, Keegan and Monica. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home (190 S 4th St, Lehighton, PA 18240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 West 13th St., Jim Thorpe, PA 18229.
