With sadness, we share the passing of Sharon Kobal of Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Sharon, born on December 16, 1946, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stephen Kobal; her parents, Willard Deats and Christine Deats (Glessner); her close friends, Heidi and Mitzi; her son Travis Zanders of Lehighton; her sister Donna (Stewart Sheckler) of Warminster; her nieces and nephews, Tim, Stephanie, Daniel and Ciera; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christina, Kyle, Wes, Sydney and Kennedy; her sisters-in-law, Brenda and Laurie of Lehighton; and her caregivers, Kim and Rochelle. She was also cherished by friends and wonderful neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hartman Funeral Home, Inc. (1791 W Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA 17960). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dolphin Research Center, 58901 Overseas Highway, Grass Key, FL 33050.
