She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Cox and Pauline Cox (Smith); her sister Catherine Cox; her sister-in-law Kay Cox; and her grandparents, Nellie and Nevin Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Owen L. Herniman, Jr.; her siblings, William F. Cox, Jr. of Florida and Pauline R. Krebs (Thomas) of Bellefonte; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Ryen (Allen) of Rochester Mills and Nancy Taylor (Richard) of Milesburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bellefonte YMCA or the SPCA in Sandy’s memory.
