John Becker Sr. Obituary

We announce the death of John Becker Sr. of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 93. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Becker and Elisabeth Becker (Kanzler); and his wife Rosie. He is survived by: his sons, John Jr. (Sharon) and Frank (Tom); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Joseph (Macy) and Annie (Hunter). He is also survived by two nieces, and many loving grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Emily Catholic Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
