He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. McKeown and Catherine E. McKeown (Nolan) of Lenni, PA; and his brother Edward McKeown. He is survived by: his wife Lynda McKeown (Hicks); his children, Glenn McKeown (Margie), Michelle McKeown, Beth McKeown (Matt Klim) and Brendan McKeown (Julie); his siblings, Joseph McKeown (Teresa) and Dorothy Haas (Bud); and his sister-in-law Nurten. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS.
