John G. Burkholder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John G. Burkholder of Leola, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Burkholder and Bessie Burkholder (Gehr); his brother Luke Burkholder; and his brother-in-law Ben Kreider. He is survived by: his wife Janet Burkholder (Martin); his children, Gary (Janelle) and Wendy (Lorin Zimmerman); his grandchildren, Darren (Marissa Burkholder), Nolan Burkholder, Larissa Burkholder, Kya Burkholder, Emily (Alex Neustadter), Kathryn Zimmerman and Austin Zimmerman; his siblings, Ivan (Gloria Burkholder) and Esther Kreider; and his sister-in-law Gladys Haller.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Millport Mennonite Church (820 Log Cabin Rd, Leola, PA 17540). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
