She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Joseph and Ella Mae; her siblings, Hilda Pettyjohn, Janie Smith, Thelma Corso, Melvin Joseph and Loretta Bunting; and her significant other James E. Short (Jim).
She is survived by: her sons, James E. Short II (Sharon) of Cary, NC and Jeffrey K. Short (Sarah) of Millersville, PA.; her grandsons, Benjamin Short of Pflugerville, TX, Jeremy Short of Willow Spring, NC, Daniel Short of Lancaster, PA and Stephen Short of Millersville, PA; and her great grandchildren, Gemma Short, CJ Short of Willow Spring, NC, Ella Short of Pflugerville, TX, Georgina Short of Lancaster, PA and Weston Short of Millersville, PA..
