She was predeceased by : her parents, Abram Redcay and Anna Mary Redcay (Zimmerman); her husband Harry F. Hoover; her sister Anna Mae Nagle; and her brother-in-law Don Nagle.

She is survived by : her siblings, Irvin Z. (Shirlene Redcay), Irene Z. Redcay, Nora (Leroy Weaver), Lloyd (Arlene Redcay), Verna Z. (Mervin Martin), Laura (Lloyd Reiff), Allen (Julie Redcay), Carl (Deb Redcay), Ruth (Mahlon Horst) and Elvin (Regina Redcay).
