He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Parks and James W. Parks. He is survived by: his wife Linda Parks; his children, Denise Deon (Mark) and James D. Parks, Jr.; his granddaughters, Angela (Jesse) and Sarah (Kyle); his family James; and his siblings, Edwin Parks, Dottie Bridges (John), Kenneth Parks (Frances), John Parks, Ronnie Parks and Gloria Parks Smith. He is also survived by his siblings and in-laws.
