She was predeceased by: her significant other Gerald Francis Costello; and her parents, Anne Ottaviani (Onderko) and Delfrano Steven Louis Ottaviani. She is survived by: her sister Patricia La Rossa; her children, Janeil Mihalow (Stephen), Janine Suscewicz (Tom), Pamela Arce, Maria Vancheri (John) and Mark Costello (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Jason, Sheri, Phillip, Erica, Nicholas, Jessica, Sean, Tanner, Zachary and Miranda.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joan's name to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphia, TN 38105.
