He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gilbert and Pauline Malinowski Gilbert; and his brothers, Frank Gilbert and Kenneth Gilbert (late Joanne). He is survived by: his daughter Rochelle Ashley (Mark) of Sarasota Beach, FL; his son-in-law Ken Stanley of Newtown; and his grandchildren, Michael and Megan Stanley.
