He is survived by: his wife Louise Breton Acker; his children, Patti L. Ray (William) and David N. Acker (Danielle); his stepchildren, Jean-Francois Breton (Kelly) and Isabelle Breton-Miller (Fred); his grandchildren, Kyle Ketterer (Sophia), David N. Acker Jr., Nikita L. Acker, Scott Jackson and McKenzie Jackson; his great grandchildren, Lucas Ketterer and Levi Savidge; his sister Lois Young Wersching (Richard); and his son Speed Shop.
