He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rissmiller and Dorothy Rissmiller. He is survived by: his wife Flora E. Rissmiller; his children, Richard Rissmiller Jr. (Jennifer), Sharon Bittle (Wayne) and John Rissmiller (Norma); his grandchildren, Rob (Kelly), Jackie (John), Jimmy of Ashley, AJ, Searlait and Eoghan; and his great grandchildren, Maya, Lizzie, Violet, Josh, Emmie, Addy and Isaac.

This allowed him to make significant contributions to his field, reflecting his intelligence and work ethic.
