He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Ines; his stepchildren, Angela Rodgers and James DeNofa; his parents, Peter Gambardello and Felicetta Gambardello; and his siblings, Mary Gambardello, Vincenza Carinelli, Anne Huggins, Rose McGee and Nicholas Gambardello.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Maria Michalski (Thomas) and Nancy DiFlorio (Richard); his sister-in-law Teresa Bowe; and his sister Emma Barousse. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
