He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew V. O'Connell and Ruth E. O'Connell (Black); his wife Patty (Bonini); his daughters, Mary Ellen Hooper, Christine L. Carvolth and Deborah Kilmer; his grandson Matt Hooper; and his siblings, Patricia Carlson, James, John "Skeet", Peter, Robert and William O'Connell.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bauer (Dave) of Etters and Matthew O'Connell (Tammy) of Lewis Run; and his brother Thomas O'Connell (Mary) of Mt. Alton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bernard Church (95 E Corydon St, Bradford, PA 16701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
