He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Johnston (Dixon); and his brother Johnny Johnston. He is survived by: his sons, Dominique Johnston (Dorene), Duane Johnston (Kimberly) and Pierre Johnston; his grandchildren, Natalie, Joshua, Jason, Adam, Jessica and Pierre Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, James Carpenter and Madison Gohn; and his siblings, Kenny, Robert Johnston and Betty Johnston Newberry. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many surviving nieces and nephews.
