He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Adams and Rita I. Adams (Tietsworth); and his brother Barry L. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Simko; and his sons, Richard T. Adams of Sunbury, Chris (Cara Adams) of Yukon, OK and Dale (Jill Adams) of Shamokin Dam. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
