She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl E. Heister and Eliza B. Heister (Watt); her husband Charles L. Rittenhouse; and her siblings, Robert Heister, Edwin "Sonny" Heister and Elizabeth Hower.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey L. Rittenhouse (Jacquelyn) of Lewistown and Karen L. Stimely of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Stephanie Rittenhouse, Courtney Wagner (Brett), Morgan Stimely (Dylan Nearhood) and Danielle Will (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Owen Wagner, Lydia Wagner and Scarlett Phillips; her great-nephew Travis Maxwell; Trenton Maxwell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren (61 Pine Glenn Rd, Lewistown, PA 17051). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
