With sadness, we share the passing of Betsy Olson of Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Betsy, born on April 11, 1953, passed away on October 16, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betsy Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert R. Shimp and Elizabeth Shimp (Shenk); her husband Dennis K. Olson; her former husband Robert "Bob" Shannon; and her brother Randy Shimp.
She is survived by: her sons, Brett Bagrosky (Christina) of Lewistown, Chad Bagrosky (Kristy) of McVeytown and Mark Bagrosky (Andrea) of Lewistown; her stepson Scott Olson (Christina) of Reedsville; her grandchildren, Shaelyn, Jace, Sawyer, Wyatt, Maddux Bagrosky, Michelle Fultz (Dillon) and Megan Olson; and her siblings, Jim Shimp of McVeytown, Bill Shimp of Lewistown and Barb Barton (Brian) of Milroy.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Birch Hill Cemetery (1100 N Pine St, Burnham, PA 17009).
