He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Heckert; and his close friend Cindy Gilmore. He is survived by: his mother Helen Irene Staronka (Treaster); his daughters, Margaret Ozeler (Aykan) of Williamsport and Katherine Staronka of Wayne; his granddaughter Luna Sage Ozeler; his brother Michael Staronka (Kasey) of Lewistown; and his nephews, David and Aaron.
