He was predeceased by: his parents, Blain Knepp and Wanda Mary Knepp (Gussler); and his brother Lee Knepp. He is survived by: his children, Daion Whalen and Karris Boreman; and his sisters, Lois Geib (Harvey) of Hughsville and Connie Crampton (James) of Buffalo, NY.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dean's name to American Cancer Society.
