He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Baumgardner and Betty Baumgardner (Goss); and his sister Donna Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Kay Baumgardner (Smith); his children, Kim Eby of Port Royal, Gerald D. Baumgardner Jr. (Patricia) of Lewistown, Jeffrey Baumgardner (Sue) of Lewistown, Wendy Bubb (Donald Jr.) of Lewistown and Kathy Baumgardner-Weigle (Darvin) of Biglerville; his stepsons, Gary Baker (Suzanne), Chuck Baker (Carolyn) of Vandergrift and Brian Baker (Shona) of Lewistown; and his pet Cocoa. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
