He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Sheaffer and Bernice G. Sheaffer (Quay); his wife Marie D. Sheaffer (Knecht); and his brother Robert Sheaffer. He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Fisher (Stephen) of Columbia, MD and Katherine Vocke (Stephen) of Roanoke, TX; his grandchildren, Ellie and Micah; and his brother Michael Sheaffer (Linda) of Centre Hall. He is also survived by eight step-children and 13 step-grandchildren.
