He was predeceased by: his son Corey A. Hower; his siblings, Robert and Virginia Hower; and his parents, William D. Hower and Minnie E. Hower (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara K. Hower (Kearns); and his sons, Curtis Hower (Debra) of Yeagertown, Michael Hower (Deborah) of Lewistown and Clifford Hower (Kelly) of Lewistown. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
