He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. McCaa and Helen E. McCaa (Beck) of Gallitzin, PA.; his wife Therese M. McCaa (Lenz); and his grandfather Robert B.. He is survived by: his children, Mary H. Lyter of Milroy, PA and Robert R. McCaa (Danielle) of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Samuel Lyter, Axel McCaa and Bonnie McCaa; and his siblings, Paul (Diane), Thomas (Linda Thumm) of Pennsburg, PA, Francis (Betty) and Theresa (Joseph Wilson) of Ebensburg, PA. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrius Church (811 Church St, Gallitzin, PA 16641).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewistown Firemen's Relief Association.
