She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Botteicher and Alice Virginia "Bunny" Botteicher (Miller); her daughter Michelle Lynn Dumm; her siblings, Betty Jane "Janie" Wagner, Donald L. "Sonny" Fultz, Delores Mae "Doris" Glant, Donna Mae Robinson and Sandra Kay Deckard; and her son-in-law Thomas D. Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Lee Pennington and Richard L. "Rick" Dumm, Jr. (Tonya); her granddaughters, Alison LeAnn Goss (Matthew), Rayna Lee Pennington and Brooke Ann Peters (Trey); her great grandchildren, Tucker, Brodie, Abigail, Thomas and Emma; and her sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Walker, Jacqueline Virginia "Jackie" Eckert and Nancy Jean Wickenheiser. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and wonderful life-long friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the John B. Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 242, Huntingdon, PA 16652, to assist with final expenses.
