With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen K. Ammerman of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen K. Ammerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kohler E. Ammerman and Dorothy Ammerman (Derr); and his siblings, G. Wesley Ammerman and Roxanne Ammerman. He is survived by: his wife Fay A. Ammerman; his children, Kathi Jo Bleyer (Jamie) of Alfarata, Kristi Luse (Shawn) of Centre Hall, Kimberli Hampton of McClure and Stephen P. Ammerman (Nicole) of Lock Haven; his stepchildren, Jeremy Landes of Lewistown, Jason Landes (Tonya) of McClure and Cecil Landes (Tina) of Dauphin; his brother Daniel Ammerman (Darlene) of Burnham; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home (108 1st Ave, Burnham, PA 17009). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Juniata Memorial Park (Hwy 522 S, Granville Township, PA 17044).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or Pets Come First.
