He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Christopher and Arlene L. Parkinson (Thummel); his brother Donald W. Parkinson; and his sister-in-law Mary E. Parkinson. He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Destiny "Nikki" Capan (Tyler Resh); his siblings, James A. Parkinson and Terri Kelker; his sister-in-law Jan Parkinson; and his grandson Kaiden Resh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald W. Parkinson and a sister-in-law, Mary E. Parkinson.
