He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Baumgardner (Lewistown) and Ruth E. Baumgardner (Skipper); his son William (Baumgardner Jr.); his grandson Harry A. Beers; and his siblings, Harry Baumgardner, Anna Mae Gillam, Mary Ruth Stoner, Betty Royer, Alberta Frampton and Dollie Baumgardner.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie C. Baumgardner; his children, Daniel Baumgardner (Deborah) of Chambersburg, Pamela Boyer (Micheal) of Duncannon and Angela House (James House) of Tyrone; his grandchildren, Kristie Ross, David of Burnham, Samuel Baumgardner (Chelsey) of Lewistown, William III, Kimberlin House of Tyrone, Jezika Weist (Rick) of Emmas and Cassandra Baumgardner (Shawn Medora) of Chambersburg; and his daughter-in-law Denise Baumgardner of Granville. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
