He was predeceased by: his father Fred A. Rumsey; and his cousin Terri "Pork" Avery. He is survived by: his mother Helen Meade (MacDowell); his wife Marika D. Gordon; his stepfather John Meade of Addison, NY; his siblings, Rebecca Lees of Hector, NY, Robert Rumsey of Newport, VA, William Rumsey of Ithaca, NY and David Rumsey of Shunk; his aunt Gayle Chase of Covington; his close friends, Joe Bernat, Stephan and Duke Bush; and his pets, Angel and Millie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
