We bid farewell to Clara Weimer (Ligonier, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Clara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Mary Emma Hoffer (Wilson); her husband Wayne Weimer; her son Wayne Weimer Jr.; her grandson Adam Emert; and her siblings, James Hoffer Jr., Leonard Hoffer (Gerry), Eleanor (Gerald Smith), Helen Knupp (Bud) and Elaine Hoffer.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Warren (Gerald) and Lois "Eileen" Goodman (Ted); her children, Barry Lee Weimer (Candy) and Mary Ann Weimer (Terry Lee Porterfield); her grandchildren, Hope Smithley (Steve), Natalie DiRinaldo (Mike), Elizabeth Ramsey, Marty Weimer (Tammy) and Jason Weimer (Jenny); her stepgrandchildren, Heather DeLaney (Keith) and Terry Richard Porterfield; her great grandchildren, Jacob Smithley, Nicole Smithley, Emmy DiRinaldo, Olivia DiRinaldo, Austin Ramsey, Sofia Ramsey, Haleigh Millward (Chad), Megan Weimer, Julia Weimer and Matthew Weimer; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Nathaniel Porterfield, Shane O'Donnell, Alexandra DeLaney, Ryan and Christy; her great great grandchildren, Wyatt, Harper Grace Millward and Waylon Smithley; Betty Roberts and Suzie Snyder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children as well to round out her extended family.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snyder-Green Funeral Home (402 E Church St, Ligonier, PA 15658). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sis's name to Waterford Christian Church.
