He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara (Bobbie), Smith (Keith) and Elizabeth Byerly (Betsy); his wife Barbara Balmer Gott; his sister Bobbie; his children, Mary Elizabeth Gott, Edwin Hays Gott III (Wendy) and Lindsay Hunter Gott; the mother of his children Suzanne Grunnagle Gott; his stepdaughters, Angela Gillentine and Heather Kress (Rob); Nicholas Hays Gott, Lily Pauline Gott, Edwin Hays Gott (Hays) and Trudy Elizabeth Sanders. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
