With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. McDonald of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. McDonald to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his father David John; and his siblings, David McDonald, Pat McDonald and Jean McDonald Glasstetter. He is survived by : his wife Nora Black McClelland; his son Sean McDonald of Washington, DC; his stepsons, Tim McClelland of Winchester, VA, Jeff McClelland of New Alexandria, Jack McClelland of Culpepper, VA and Andrew McClelland of Evans, GA; his daughter-in-law Dina Bridge of Madison, VA; and his brother Frank McDonald. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren.
