He is survived by: his wife Valerie Shaffer; his stepsons, Joe Chearney (Rebecca), Josh McMilen (Kyleigh) and Justin Foreman (Lacy); his grandchildren, Makenzie, Kaelyn, Raelyn, Brady, Ralph, Henry, Trysten and Keira; his mother Daisy Shaffer; and his brothers, Kevin Shaffer (Cindy) and Kenny Shaffer (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder-Green Funeral Home (402 E Church St, Ligonier, PA 15658). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Snowball Cemetery.
