He was predeceased by: his parents, LaRue Royer and Dorothy Royer (Hottenstein); and his stepmother Esther Royer. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Ellis; and his siblings, Donald Royer of Milton, Shirley Shannon (Herbert) of Mifflinville and Sharon Laubacher (Barry) of Milton.
