He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hauser Sr. and Lydia Kreitz; and his grandson Jason. He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Kimport; his sons, Steve Hauser (Allie) of Avis, Gordy Hauser (Cathy) of Jersey Shore and Rod Hauser (Tricia) of Peoria, AZ; and his stepchildren, Becky Fraley (Howard) of Lewisburg and Denny Miller (Lori) of Montoursville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
