“I got to know Betty through Salem Lutheran Church in Ephrata, and I had the pleasure of teaching several of her grandchildren in school. Betty was devoted to her family and was a dedicated member of the church. She faithfully attended services and volunteered her time and talents in various ways. Betty was a sharp dresser in always wearing well coordinated "ensembles" and a hat to church. She always knelt at the altar rail for communion. I always admired her youthful spirit! Jim Kimmel”
