He was predeceased by: his parents, Menno H. Ober and Minnie Ober (Greiner); and his siblings, Dorothy Shank, Greiner, Clair and Leroy Ober.
He is survived by: his wife Marie L. Ober (Lockard); and his children, Donna Tice (Robert) of Lebanon, Debra Miller (William II) of Annville and Dale Ober (Laurie) of Manheim. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
