She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hiram Brown and Lilian Richards Brown; her husband Edwin I. Marks; and her siblings, Helen Brubaker, Irene Brown and Charles Brown.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane L. Houser and Janis L. Taft; her sons-in-law, Robert Gilliland and Richard D. Taft; her grandchildren, Shelby L. Houser (Devin Graham) and Greg Houser (Betsy Seymour); her great grandchild Tayler J. Dawsey (Dawsey); her great great grandchild Leona Hayes (Ace Dawsey); her niece Ann Tennis; and her nephew Paul Brown.
