He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. James B. Ranck and Mary Ranck; and his sister Cheryl Ranck Sykes. He is survived by: his wife Bette Bateman Ranck; his daughters, Susan Ranck (Jones) and Sarah Ranck Layton (Mark Layton); his grandchildren, Josalyn Keller (James Daley), Rosalyn Keller, Tenana Jones, Ava Layton and Titus Layton; and his great grandchild Raelyn Forney.
