Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn M. and Mary R. Shaffer (Horne); her husband Kenneth L. Engle; her daughters, Kimberly D. (Marc A. Hostetter) of Manheim and Kendra M. (Bob E. Feigert, Jr.) of Mount Joy; her grandchildren, Dana (Ben Metzler) and Chad Hostetter; and her great grandchild Jett Metzler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church (996 E High St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
