He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Theis and Martha Becker Theis; and his brother Peter Theis. He is survived by: his daughter Kristi (Gary Schreckengost) of Reinholds; his grandchildren, Morgan Schreckengost and Emily Bensing; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Victoria Bensing.
